Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Cary. He came into UYR from a hoarding situation. Cary is 2 years old and weighs 11.4 lbs. His adoption fee is $475. He is being fostered in Saint Augustine, FL.
UPDATED BIO 08/18/2017: Cary is a sweet dog whose life has recently been turn upside down. Cary was 1 of 25 dogs recently rescued from a hoarding situation. When he met his foster parents for the first time, he approached them with such sweetness – and some confusion, since he had a B-I-G day and a long transport.
When Cary arrived at his foster home, he was met by the resident pack which consisted of three dogs and two Siamese cats. He was fine and they were fine with him. Cary has settled in and likes being with his family 24/7. He has followed his foster parents everywhere, even into the shower – what a priceless look he had on his face when the water hit him, lol!
On his first walk, he did really good, but had the pack with him for support. Foster Mom believes he would do well in a home with one or two other dogs, and perhaps even kitty cats. Cary never went outside in his previous home, so he doesn’t understand where it is – and isn’t – appropriate to do his business. Cary is also going to the resident Puppy Training Manners class so that he can learn how to behave properly in and out of the home. He’s a smart little boy and will learn quickly as he wants to please his humans. Stay tuned for more updates on Cary……
INITIAL BIO 08/12/2017: Cary came into UYR today from an horrendous hoarding situation . Please watch our website for pictures and updates very soon.
PLEASE NOTE: UYR took in a total of 11 dogs today from this hoarding situation, including Cary. None of these dogs received any routine veterinarian care and all will need to receive vaccinations, worming, microchips, dentals, fecals, HW testing and will be altered. Please help us help Cary and the other precious yorkies taken in today by donating to their vetting expenses, which will be very high due to the number of dogs coming in today. No donation is too small. You can donate to any of these dogs by clicking on the Donation Button below. Thank you from Cary and the other dogs, and especially from the folks at United Yorkie Rescue who participated in their rescue/transport and to the foster moms and dads who so eagerly stepped forward to foster these very needy little dogs.
