Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mouse and Pixel are best friends! They met at the shelter and have found warmth in each other’s embrace. Mouse is always ready for action and curious about his surroundings, while Pixel waits for his permission to explore and play. They are both about 8 years old. Mouse LOVES all things Disney (as evidenced by his Mickey ears that he ALWAYS wears) and Pixel is LITERALLY a rare breed. Only one in about every 3000 tortoiseshell cats are male…he has an extra X-chromosome! Once you earn Pixel’s trust, he will let you come closer each time, and he can't resist crunchy treats.
Both cats love playing with the cat dancer toy, wand chasing (no bells), tunnels, catnip and treats. Mouse and Pixel would love to find a home together so if you're looking for a unique, sweet pair, please complete the adoption application: https://abandonedpetrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/To meet this adoptable pet, please fill out an adoption application at www.abandonedpetrescue.org and a team member will contact you to schedule an appointment.

More about this shelter
Abandoned Pet Rescue (APR) is one of the largest no-kill animal shelters in South Florida with the mission of rescuing and sheltering abandoned and abused cats and dogs with the goal of finding them new homes. APR's adoption center has about 150 cats and 30 dogs, all of which receive nutritious meals, veterinary care, enrichment and love.
APR, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was founded in 1996 by a group of volunteers who were trapping, spaying and neutering feral cats and quickly realized the greater need to help abandoned pets and advocate for a no-kill community. APR is funded solely by generous donors and grants.
