Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Mr Jared. He is 1 years young Argentine Dogo/Dogue de Bordeaux/Mastiff cross whose interests includes exploring, cuddling and chewing on toys. He loves having toys to play with, so his new home will need to provide him with his own toys, bones, playtime, and some training to keep his mind and body healthy. This boy is house trained, somewhat leashed trained, has some basic commands down, he gets along with all kinds of people. He likes to sleep with his human or near them.
He has a low prey drive and is curious about cats but not enough to say hi to them yet. Jared is a very sweet boy and likes to cuddle with you or lay down with you, wherever you may be or whatever you may be doing. He is a confident and curious puppy. It would be best to keep up his training as he can be willful and he will be very large in size.
Jared will be happiest when he can be a part of his person's daily activities. His family will need to be sure that Jared feels like he is part of a close knit group. He is neutered, micro chipped, vaccinated, licensed and a complete health workup. Mr Jared is still growing his fur on his body from the neglect he was rescued from. We have found lamb, duck and salmon foods work well for him or many of the limited ingredient foods. He will go home with his new family with all his medical records and DNA test results.
Are you looking to add a sweet, curious, silly, handsome, smart boy to your family? What about a social companion ready for adventures with you? Come see Mr Jared! He is available for adoption through the Miss Gabriel Foundation.

Due to a meet and greet, home visit and 3-7 day overnight stay with this rescue, before an adoption can be signed; we are looking for local families. This dog also will do best in a home with other dog/dogs. He lives in a foster home with 16 dogs and 2 cats. He also has mild separation anxiety if left alone for too many hours so it would be best to have someone with him (human or canine) as much as possible. He has made progress in all these areas as he is still a puppy.
