Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Mr Jensen. He is 1 years young Argentine Dogo/Dogue de Bordeaux/Mastiff cross whose interests includes exploring, cuddling and chewing on toys. He loves having toys to play with, so his new home will need to provide him with his own toys, bones, playtime, and some training to keep his mind and body healthy. This boy is house trained, somewhat leashed trained, has some basic commands down, he gets along with people that he trusts. He likes to sleep with his human or near them.
He has a low prey drive and is curious about cats but not enough to say hi to them yet. Jensen is a very sweet boy and likes to cuddle with you or lay down with you, wherever you may be or whatever you may be doing. He is very shy and shuts down sometimes around unfamiliar people and places. Mr Jensen will need special care to continue his rehabilitation around his fear and anxieties to make him a better balanced dog as he will be a big day when he is full grown.
Jensen will be happiest when he can be a part of his person's daily activities. His family will need to be sure that Jared feels like he is part of a close knit group. He is neutered, micro chipped, vaccinated, licensed and a complete health workup. Mr Jensen is still growing his fur on his body from the neglect he was rescued from. We have found lamb, duck and salmon foods work well for him or many of the limited ingredient foods. He will go home with his new family with all his medical records and DNA test results.
Are you looking to add a sweet, shy, silly, handsome, smart boy to your family? What about a social companion ready for adventures with you? Come see Mr Jensen! He is available for adoption through the Miss Gabriel Foundation.

Due to a meet and greet, home visit and 3-7 day overnight stay with this rescue, before an adoption can be signed; we are looking for local families. This dog also will do best in a home with stable dog/dogs that can keep showing him how to continue to be brave. He lives in a foster home with 16 dogs and 2 cats. He also has mild separation anxiety if left alone for too many hours so it would be best to have someone with him (human or canine) as much as possible. Looking for a handler who can treat him like a dog and not a child. He has made progress in all these areas as he is still a puppy.
