River is 2 1/2 years old. My son found him at the Humane Society last Jan. He has since moved out to go to college and we have our own business which takes a great deal of our time. We do not feel it is fair to leave such a young dog at home alone with all that energy. River is neutered, potty trained, loves kids, other dogs. He gets along with our barn cats, sort of has an understanding about staying away from the horses feet. He has great manners, and is very smart. He has to have a fenced in yard of some sort, all that pent up energy has to get out sometime!! I think he ways about 40-50 lbs. He is not pure bred, just looks like a small black lab.
