Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet HOWIE!!
Howie is an approximately 17 pound, 1-2 year old, neutered male mix. He looks like a lab/rat terrier mix.
Howie was found as a stray in a small South Texas town. He found himself homeless in the animal control facility.
Howie is playful, affectionate, very sweet, and loves to play with all the dogs in his foster home. He has shown no interest in cats. He has playful high level energy as most dogs his age do. Howie is good in a crate, and is doing well with potty training when kept on a regular schedule.
Howie is current on vaccinations, flea and heartworm preventive, and is micro-chipped. He comes with a health certificate.
Howie's preferred home has a secure fenced in yard (no electric or wireless please), another dog to play with, and becayse of his high energy, no children under 5 please.
Howie is currently in a foster home in San Antonio TX and can be transported to your area once adopted. All adopters must meet requirements
Howie is available through the City of Lytle Animal Care and Control. Adoption fee is $185, and transport fee to the East coast via Rescue Road Trips is $185.
