Here's what the humans have to say about me:
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING ONE OF OUR DOGS PLEASE GO TO OUR WEBSITE AT WWW.FLORIDAYORKIERESCUE.COM AND COMPLETE THE ONLINE ADOPTION APPLICATION.
We have been working with Bing now for several months and we feel that he is improving enought to be adopted. He is a special little case, he is! He doesn't like kids or other animals. He is a bit feisty and temperamental but this is caused from a life of previous abuse. He sleeps with us at night and will press up as closely as he can to our body... he does OK with other dogs but doesn't like to share us with them so he will be best adopted as an only dog.
He weighs a very tiny 3.7 lbs. He has a tiny bark that sounds like a parrot, which is kind of totally adorable and the sounds that come out of his tiny mouth sound more like words instead of "woofs."
He has now been neutered, (hopefully this will calm him down a bit) micro-chipped, vaccinated, and thankfully has had his remaining four teeth removed. He likes being carried around and loves his stroller. Bing acts like such a tough guy but I think he is just afraid. He would do best with either an older single or married couple who have a lot of patience. He would do well with someone who is home more often than not. He needs to learn how to trust humans again. He desperately wants to.
He does his pee pee on papers and seems pretty good about it. He also likes to sun himself on the screened in lanai but walking him down the street is not something you will probably be able to do because he really hates a harness. Like REALLY! I wish he could talk so he could tell me all that has happened to him. We are not sure how old he is, a good guess would be about 8 or so. I am going to be very picky about where he goes.... because he has been through so much already and I want him to live the rest of his life in peace and comfort. (Oh and the hat was photo-shopped on... no way would he have ever allowed that on his head either. lol)
