Mitzi was found in a back road on the outskirts of Houston with 2 other small dogs. Volunteers witnessed them being attacked by what they describe may have been coyotes. Our volunteers acted immediately to save them but the coyotes had already killed 1 of the small pups. We were able to scare the coyotes away and save Mitzi and 1 other pup. They were both extremely skittish and afraid of people. It took quite some time to get them to start to trust again and open up to people. Mitzi is still very shy and due to the attack, she is submissive and scared of big dogs.
Mitzi is a super sweet girl. She loves giving kisses, being held and being a lap dog. She is great with other dogs although a bit scared of big dogs, she is good with cats and children. She has the most beautiful smile with a slight under bite that will melt your heart.
Mitzi is crate trained, potty trained, good on a leash and fully vetted. Mitzi would make a great companion and great addition to any family with pets and children.
