Sapphire was rescued at 6 weeks old from a storm drain near a busy warehouse. She has been an indoor cat ever since, and will be 4 years old in September. She enjoys scratching posts, looking out windows, cuddling, and catching flies in the house. She has experience with small kids (mine are 3 years and 9 months old) but mostly avoids them due to their loud noises and physical forms of play. She has never harmed the children, but prefers to keep to herself during the day. I am home with my children full time, and because Sapphire is reluctant to be near the children, she is mostly by herself all day and night, but yearns to cuddle with me and my husband when the kids are sleeping. She has had exposure to another cat in the house and was curious to befriend him, however, his stay was temporary because he was an indoor/outdoor cat and was not adjusting well to being indoor full time. She is fully litter trained, and has not had any health issues other than ringworm when she was rescued.
