About Doogan (FKA Daryl)

PLEASE READ IN ITS ENTIRETY!

Beautiful, isn't he? Well something went wrong along the way. Daryl needs a home that has no visitors. HE HAS AGGRESSION ISSUES WITH STRANGERS.
Ninety percent of the time this dog is a sweetheart that loves to cuddle, plays well with other dogs, and even gives kisses. He does great on leash as long as there are no humans around..
Daryl (NOW KNOWN AS DOOGAN) is a neutered sable male, 3 years old and perfectly housebroken. He is large for a sheltie too, weighing in at 38lbs.
He will require a special home that understands his anxiety and is willing to work with him. If you have a lot of visitors, children or are intimidated by dogs...do not apply!

Check back as we begin his medications for updates. Medications did not work (or at least we've not found the right one yet). They seemed to make him worse instead of better.
There is not reason to euthanize him if all he needs is a home suited for him! He needs to be in a home with a fenced yard (yes, a must since you can't walk him for fear of running into other humans), larger dogs as companions, no children and a home that has no visitors.
