Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Taffy is a spayed female 6 months old black lab puppy. She is currently about 18 lbs, but she is under weight. We believe she will be around 35 lbs when she is full grown.
Taffy was one of the international rescues from an illegal dog meat farm. When we found her, she was emaciated and malnourished. After months of our foster's care and love, she is now 100% healthy and is a happy puppy. Taffy's personality is friendly and out-going. She is very sweet and loves loves loves people and children. Taffy is innocent, submissive and does not know danger. She would go up to any dogs and human and wanted to lick their faces. Taffy is potty-trained, leash-trained, crate-trained and know some basic commands. She is calm for a young puppy and is very lay-back.
Taffy is spayed with all up-to-date shoots, blood tests and has passed quarantine. Initially she would be a little shy and reserve in a new environment. But she warms up quickly.
Taffy is with A TICKET TO HAPPINESS rescue. If you are interested in Taffy, please call or text Lin at 949-331-6299 or email LinShen98@yahoo.com
A Ticket To Happiness adoption procedure:
We do require an application. Our process is that after you filled out our application questionnaire, we can schedule a day for you to come to our volunteer's home and meet with Taffy. And feel free to bring anyone with you. After meeting Taffy, if you like her and if we think you could be a good fit for her. Then you can start a trial adoption. Trial adoption means that we can take Taffy over to your home and leave her with you for a few days to two weeks (we prefer not to go beyond two weeks). During the trial adoption period, at anytime, you can return her to us (no question ask). Only when you know for sure that you'd like to adopt Taffy officially, then you will then need to sign an adoption agreement and pay for the adoption fee of $150. So prior to the official adoption, you don't need to pay the adoption fee.
Thank you for opening up your heart and your home to a rescued dog.
Disclaimer:
We thank you for your interest in potentially adoption/rescuing Taffy. All of our rescued dogs are in foster family's homes, we do not have a facility or kennels. We want to make sure our foster families and volunteers are safe (most likely you will be going to one of their homes to visit the dogs). That's why we asked for the application. We can provide all of the documentations you need to ensure you that we are a legit rescue. We want the best and the safest for the potential adopters, our volunteers and our dogs. Please note that we do not ask for any money at all upfront.
