Meet Fonzie, a former inmate of North Central Shelter. Fonzie is a handsome, five-year-old Coton de Tulear. He knows how to sit up and he loves treats. He was dragged into the shelter by his owner. Fonzie was so scared to death he started growling, snapping and lunging at the staff. He sat in the shelter for eleven days. He shut down, wouldn't eat and lost three pounds. But in foster care, he is coming around and doing well. Trust and happiness are showing up in his eyes again. He does have a mistrust of men but that something that is being worked on.
