UPDATE:11-10-08: Simmon now weighs 18 pounds and is doing fantastic! He still has a few more weeks of deworming and goes in this week for his 2nd set of vaccs. He is waiting for his forever home. Inquire on him TODAY!! UPDATE 11-26-08: Simmon is doing great!! He went back to the vet and is gaining weight like a champ. He gained 4 pounds in just a week. WOW. The vet says, they will have to dock my tail. She is able to save some of it, so i will look more like a boxer that for sure. I started my puppy shots, recieved my Bordatella and another dose of deworming meds. I am also learning to go potty outside like a good boy and doing great so far. i dont even have accidents in my kennel at night. Hi!! My name is Simmon and im a 2 1/2 month old Pit Bull/Boxer mix. I am so lucky to be here. You see my owners couldnt sell me to make any money so i was suppose to be sent to animal control, where unfortunately i would automatically be euthanized because of my breed. I actually wasnt suppose to go into rescue, but when the nice lady came to rescue my sister she whispered in my ear that she was taking all of us with her. So off we went. They had to hurry and take us all to the vet because we have worms so bad that our gums and skin color was so pale. I have to be on 4 weekly treatments just to get rid of them all. I also have a broken tail so i may have to have it amputated off. Dont wait, hurry and put your adoption app in TODAY!! I will be neutered before going into my new.
