My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweetie is a small female Chihuahua mix. She is approx 10 lbs and 1-3 yrs old. Sweeties adoption fee is $500 and includes spay, microchip, vaccinations and parasite treatment up to date.

Sweetie is a LOVE, but shy at first. She was a little shy with me, but was a lot more shy with my boyfriend. She comes around with treats very quickly, and now loves both of us. But definitely shy with strangers to start so maybe abused/handled roughly before. For this reason we suggest no children, or older mature calm children.

Sweetie is vocal. She may seem the typical "small yappy dog", but I see her more as a "talker". When you get home she will bark like crazy in anticipation - but - she is usually very good at quieting on command. Sometimes when playing she can get over excited and bark as well. For this reason, Sweetie would not suit an apartment, but may be ok in a town home etc.

She can mouth when playing but is very gentle and we are working on it. She really loves to cuddle and be petted. She loves to play with toys.
