Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Abby is now being fostered in Olympia, WA. With an approved application we can make arrangements for a meet and greet!
Abby is a Lab mix female...with a birthdate of 12/30/16...and currently
about 35#. She's only 7 mos old so she is still growing. Abby was a very
fortunate girl who had been adopted out as a puppy from the Laredo ACS and
brought back to them a couple of months later (reason unknown). She stayed
there for a while and then was listed on the "kill" list and put on the
internet along with about 15 other dogs. These were amazingly beautiful,
fantastic dogs. I was able to get 3 of them with other rescues zooming in
to rescue these dogs (not one was killed). Abby can be a little shy upon first meet but warms up quickly and is just a great little girl! She
totally came out of her shell and now is the "class clown" and the
instigator of all that is fun.
Abby is a VERY fun dog with average energy. She loves toys and she loves
water. She has not lived inside the house...she will need one-on-one TLC
and training. Abby is being fostered in a home with several other dogs and is having a good time. She's totally house trained in her foster home, tolerates the kennel and is pretty much off leash on un-fenced acreage the rest of the time and does great, she sticks with her pack. She will be great for the active family, children, and lots of exercise. Abby has spent a short amount of time with indoor cats and has done fine but will chase them outside.
Adoption Fee: $350. Includes spay, vaccinations, microchip, hw test, flea/tick treatment and transport costs associated with getting her from the rescue in TX to her foster home in WA.
