Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Boney came in last December as a wee bag of bones. She was found abandoned in the forest by a really nice man who knew just what to do...bring her to us! We named her Boney Maroney (cause she was a bag of bones) with the idea that she would soon be so beautiful we could switch the name to Bonita! Still a puppy, she had horrible skin allergies that had not been treated and the result was a mass of sores. Malnourished, mistreated and all -she was so friendly.
Within just a few weeks, her troubles began to fade. No more skin problems, no more bones. Updated on all shots, wormer, flea pills, heartworm program....and she has been spayed! Good health check and she is now ready to go.
She loves other dogs....we can house her with anyone. She doesn't chase the cats when she's out romping and pretty much stays in her area until time to kennel. She is easily bullied so when we have her with someone, we make sure she is allowed to eat.
She is very friendly & outgoing. She would make a great therapy dog. She deserves a home that she can count on and never be dumped and starved again.
