ADOPTION PENDING

Barbara is a medium-sized American/MiniRex mix that was rescued with her litter from a Virginia shelter in July 2017. She's spayed and vetted and thought she had found her forever home, but she fought with their rabbit so now must find a new home.

She is very curious, playful, smart, and sassy. She handles easily and doesn't mind being picked up for grooming. Since she is sometimes skittish around strangers and new environments, she would benefit from a patient adopter who can give her a lot of TLC to build trust. She loves nothing more than to gorge on timothy hay and tear apart cardboard boxes. Once accustomed to her new environment, she has excellent litterbox habits. Unfortunately, she fought with her previous adopter's other rabbit and must be re-homed. She may thrive as a solo bunny where she can be treated like a queen, and given a lot of attention and stimulation.
