Meet our newest little cutie, sweet Piper. She had been found as a stray, and alas, although she was found wearing a collar, there were no tags, and no one came to claim her. She appears to be a Shepherd mix possibly with some Beagle mixed in- only she really knows! She is 6 years old, and is a petite little girl, weighing in at 30 lbs. and would benefit from gaining a few pounds, which her foster mom is already in the works on, with yummy treats and healthy food.
She quickly settled right into her new foster home, and is already following her foster mom wherever she goes, especially when it's food time! She'll hop and do a little dance because she's so excited to eat! You'll either find her curled up taking a snooze or exploring the yard, but she'll make sure you are always close by.
Piper is great with people of all sizes, and just loves getting her head scratched. She currently lives in her foster home with two other dogs, but she would prefer to be your "one and only" dog, since she likes to be the queen bee. She has a calm demeanor and feel she would do just fine in a home with cats.
Piper is housebroken, up to date on her shots, microchipped, heartworm negative and will be getting spayed shortly. She knows how to "Sit", and is well behaved when she goes for rides in the car. If you are looking for that quiet companion, who will always look at you lovingly with her beautiful, soulful brown eyes, than Piper is your girl!
