They have been together all their lives and are very bonded - PLEASE NOTE: Anna & Patty Cake MUST BE adopted together. Anna and Patty Cake continue to flourish in thier foster home. Anna has discovered playtime with squeek toys and will chase her favorite purple toy around the house all day long. Anna, who was once the most shy of the two girlies, has now blossomed into an unbelievably playful little girlie.

She just loves to follow foster mom around everywhere. Anna has blossomed into a confident little yorkie girlie, a big change from the initial shyness she had when she first came into UYR. She had a sad life prior to coming into UYR - she was used as a breeder and never really had a chance to be a puppy.........sigh..... But, she now has a very playful side and gets so excited when you play with her. Anna has also discovered that she loves belly rubs and now rolls over on her back to get her share. Don't let this petite little platinum blond bombshell fool you, she leaves her shyness behind when it is time to eat. Anna will be first at your feet when it's chow time! Anna gets along with foster mom's other pups and sometimes runs and plays in the backyard alongside them. She is an absolute sweetie that loves to be held or cuddled in your lap.

UPDATED BIO 02/12/09: Anna is an adorable 10 y/o 6# yorkie girlie who came in with Patty Cake (see below). Both girls are amazingly sweet and loving, and only want a warm lap to lie in or beside. Their personalities seem to come out more and more each day. They both have such a wonderful spirit and are very, very loving. Housebreaking continues to be a 'work in progress'. Anna does much better as she likes to go in the grass.


Anna has begun playing with the little female yorkie in the foster home. Patty tries to join in a bit, but for now 3 seems to be a crowd. Anna has really come out of her shell. Anna is just a little love, and she and Patty have begun playing with one another. They both crave the attention they never received in their previous lives. Both girls are paper-trained, but may have accidents in their new home until they feel comfortable and know what is expected of them. PLEASE READ B4 YOU SUBMIT ADOPTION APP: It takes a very special adopter to accept and love a precious little one like Anna who has lived her entire life in a crate, unsocialized and very, very scared & timid. Her nails were very long, her coat matted and her mouth rotten - she lost all her remaining teeth when she had her recent dental.


For those of us who have witnessed the miracle of a frightened dog growing to love and trust, to play with toys for the first time, to walk on grass for the first time, to walk outside and breathe the fresh air of a fall morning - it is one of the most joyful and rewarding experiences of our lives. A little dog that has not previously known these things and who ventures to totally trust a human being in spite of these things is a triumph of the spirit from which we can all learn.



INITIAL BIO 11-15-08: MEET ANNA ~ she is a beautiful 7 y/o yorkie girlie that was surrendered by a breeder who was no longer able to care for her. Anna has not had much socialization, and has mostly been crated her entire life, giving birth to puppies. :( She is very sweet, and with a lot of love and attention should turn into a wonderful companion dog who is so deserving of a forever home of her own.
