My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Romeo is a tall, lean minpin/manchester terrier that came to us from a cruelty case, underweight and with a scar near his tail. He was named appropriately for his personality, for despite his initial fears, he is convinced his people were put here just for him to love! Strangers will get a little growl but he warms up quickly once he sees they are okay with you. He doesn't know he's a little lanky for your lap, and will curl & try to make himself small as possible to fit. He's good next to you on a lawn swing or couch with one paw thrown over your leg. At this time Romeo uses a fenced yard for potty. He is hesitant on leash but willing to follow with patience. We think he will enjoy walks once his confidence grows, he has the long legs and stride for it! He pretty much ignores other dogs except his brother, Shine, and may show displeasure at sharing your affection or his food. If you'd like to take Romeo on his last step into life in a loving home, ask for Romeo! He is ready to have a person to call his own.
