Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Smoocher, so named because he actually likes to lick your face. One of our volunteers was at the shelter picking up a dog when she spotted this beautiful Persian mix in a cage. He immediately came to the front of the cage and when she opened the door he head butted her and licked her cheek. But she was there to pick up a dog. Two weeks later she was back for another dog and there was Smoocher, still sitting in his cage. Again he came right over to give kisses. Again, our volunteer took the dog she had come for and left Smooch, certain that such a sweet, beautiful cat would get a home. The next time our volunteer went to the shelter, this handsome guy was still there. Now he was looking a little bedraggled and dirty from the newspaper print that had rubbed off on his fur. Well, third times the charm and our volunteer had to bring the Smooch home and into foster care.
Since he has been out of the shelter, Smoocher has been a joy. He has gained some weight (he is a big boy!), been neutered, and his beautiful coat is once again clean and luxurious. He would prefer a home without dogs although is currently tolerating the dogs he shares a home with. He gets along with other cats, and despite his size is fairly submissive with a dominant cat. Unfortunately in his pictures, he has squinted his eyes and you can't see the awesome ice blue eyes he is blessed with. Smooch is looking for a home where he can get lots of attention, although being a cat he lets you when he has had enough. He is an adult, probably around 5 years old. Smooch is up to date on shots and tested negative for feline AIDS and Leukemia. Are you looking for a big furry guy who loves to lavish kisses and attention on you? Maybe Smoocher is your man.
