My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pretty Penelope arrived at the shelter in mid-June, nursing a delightful quartet of kittens. Now that her babies have all found homes, it's time for Penny to find her forever home. She is a very sweet young calico with gorgeous green eyes, and just a little bit of young-cat freshness mixed in. Like all young, happy cats, she is very inquisitive and curious. She's fine with the other shelter cats, though she does make sure they know they shouldn't bother her, usually by throwing a quick hiss their way when they are first let out of their cages. But Penny despises dogs -- and she doesn't look like the kind of cat who will back down from one! So a home with no dogs is required for Penny. She did meet some young children who visited the shelter recently, and she adored them, rubbing their legs and flopping all around their feet, putting on a sweet little show to get their attention, so she would make a good addition to a home with children.

Penny is estimated to be 2 years old, is box-trained, spayed, current on vaccinations, and tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia. Adoption fee for adult cats is $50 (cash or check only, please).
