My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

7/14/2017 Meet sweet Sage. A 5 year old 8lb female being fostered in Winston Salem, NC.
Sage, a breeder shelter surrender is a beautiful blue/gray little lady who is very calm, and sweet. She has adapted well to the dog door at foster and is going in and out frequently. She has had no accidents in foster home, so it’s pretty safe to say, she’s housebroken. She is gated, and has not been crated other than during transport which she rode nicely with her daughter, Abby, who is also for adoption. She gets along with all her fur siblings running and playing, and is just a delight at foster’s.
Rides easily, does well on a leash, very attentive, smart and loving. She is not yet a snuggle girl, but foster can easily see her becoming one upon adoption. Although she shows no sign of mistreatment or neglect, one on one and tenderness to her will certainly bring out all the love this little lady has to offer up. She shows much mothering to the other pups. Sage wishes her furever to have a fenced yard, and to give her the independence of coming and going through a dog door, as she is quite smart about that and enjoys her off leash outside adventures with her fur siblings and foster Sage will make a great companion to anyone over the age of 10, and perhaps another pup her own size.
Sage is now accepting applications; scheduled for spay 7/27; 14 days later she will be ready for her furever.
