Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Daisy is three. She was rescued from a dumpster down south. We adopted her without enough knowledge of her breed. We feel really sad to be looking for a new home for her but don't think we're a good match for her and want her to be with someone who has more time and energy than we do.
Daisy is a high energy dog. She would be a great running partner, hunting or working dog or dog for an active family. She would be an amazing cattle dog. She loves to herd.
She loves children but is better company for older children (over four or five). She lacks awareness that younger children are vulnerable to getting knocked over.
She's very sweet and loves meeting new people and new dogs. She is well socialized with other dogs and loves playing with other dogs.
I didn't check the good with cats box because I'm not sure. she has been around cats a couple of times and was excited to see them and there weren't any issues. She's never lived with a cat.
She is house trained. She understands sit, down (for lay down), stay, back up. With us at night she sleeps in a crate. I think she likes it. She'll go in and sleep in it even if we don't close the door. We usually do keep it closed though because she's prone to accidents at night if not in there.
During her first year we attended puppy play group weekly so she would be well socialized. We also attended a six month basic training class with her.
Daisy has a lot of energy and she is very smart. She learns quickly. She really would be an amazing dog for the right owner.
