My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oval track greyhound racing goes back to the 1920s in Ireland and they have a long history of breeding the dogs for those races and those in the UK. GALT is happy to have Ned (and his companion Rolo) join us from that heritage. Ned, racing name, Stormy Ned, is a 4 1⁄2 year old black and white male who comes to us from Ireland by way of A Grey’s Home in Belgium. Born in October of 2012, his sire is Premiere Fantasy and his dam is Fintans Gwennie. He has 27 races on record. He had surgery to remove a toe in 2015 but has healed completely and has no lingering issues. Ned is a strong, outgoing and friendly dog and would be best suited in a home with older, responsible children. He is not compatible with smaller dogs or cats but has been around larger dogs with no issues.

UPDATE 3/11/2017

Ned has a positive titer to Ehrlichia Canis, and treatment has started.

UPDATE 4/28/2017

Ned has been successfully treated for Ehrlichia Canis and is now ready to find his forever home!
