My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Helen is an amazing young cat who may be a bit shy and slow to come out of her shell but, once she does, she is an absolute joy! She does appreciate some petting (especially when a human is attempting to work at their computer) but purrrrfers to play and would love to have another feline companion in the home to run, jump and pounce with. She is not much into cuddling but loves interactive play, especially with laser lights! Helen has lots of energy and would benefit from a cat tower whe can run, jump, and stretch on. She currently has several cat activity toys to keep her occupied and engaged. She loves to play and while a laser pointer is her FAVORITE toy, she loves to jump and catch her small toys. She has even learned to fetch. She will bring you a mouse when she wants to play and will fetch it until she is tuckered out.

She currently has 2 feline foster siblings. One does not let her get away with anything and the other runs away every time she sees Helen-and Helen is happy to give her a chance. If her new home has felines, they will need to have lots of energy to play with her or be dominant enough to put her in her place. She also shows her love for her family by leaving her ty mouse in places, your shoe, your pillow, the cat food bowl, etc.

Helen does great with older children 10+. She needs a human who will pay attention to her body language. She occasionally forgets that playtime has ended and she will put her mouth on you to encourage playtime. She is easily redirected, but younger children may not pick up on her cues.

This girl was rescued from the headlights of a truck by her very own foster mom as a kitten and has been waiting much too long for a home to call her own!
