Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

NOTE: To see additional pictures of Lily and/or to apply to adopt, please visit the "Foster Care" page on our website: www.BaytownHumaneSociety.org
Lily, a Beagle/Basset mix puppy, came into our program a very scared, lost, and hungry little girl. She was less than 2 months old and had somehow gotten caught between an air conditioning unit and the wall of a house. She was inducted into the BHS foster program where she has thrived. She weathered Hurricane Ike with her foster family, and has been through quite a lot in her short life! Lily is now a healthy six-month-old pup who has been wormed, had her dew claws removed, fully vaccinated, spayed, and kept on regular heartworm prevention. She is the typical energetic puppy except that she does not go after cats, and so far, (Knocking on Wood!) she has not destroyed anything in the foster home. Of course, they keep her well supplied with things that are OK to chew and she has other dogs to play with, too! Lily LOVES the water and really had fun in her kiddy pool this summer. If puppies are your thing, and you can give Lily the loving home she deserves, please apply today! She's got many, many years to share with a great family.
