My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Beauty and grace.... that's Annie.  This gentle, sweet girl is one of the most loving dogs we've met.  So very gentle, Annie enjoys playing with dog toys, relaxing with you on the sofa, and going for a nice walk.  She gets along well with everyone, including other dogs, cats, and kids.  She also loves to snuggle close, when she sleeps.  

She is a faccinating mixture of Lab, Ridgeback (yep, she has a ridge), hound (look at those adorable ears!) and maybe a little Pointer in there.  

Annie is young, about 8 months old, so she is as tall as she will get, but will "fill out" a bit more.  Plus, she is still gaining weight, as she was significantly underweight when we rescued her.  (Sadly, someone actually pushed her out of their truck while driving down the street.  Thankfully, a lady saw it and stopped to help her, and called us.)
