Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name is Fletcher! My birth date is 10-11-01, so I am 7 years old now. I weigh 10 lbs, and had surgery back in 2005 for a slipped disc, but I walk and run just fine now. I need a home without stairs though, because we don’t want to take any chances with my back. I like adults and older children, but I get nervous around noisy little kids. I love to sleep in the big bed, and I’m the last dog to get out of bed in the morning! I also like to hunt for bunnies and squirrels in the back yard, and to ride in the car. I don’t mind the rain, and I’m very good about going outside to potty. I hate to have my nails done, so I need to be walked daily to keep them worn down. I’m very good for a bath and will even let you brush my teeth. I’m shy around new people, but warm up quickly. Once I get to know you, I love to snuggle, give kisses, and be held. I’m good around other dachshunds, but I bark at bigger dogs. My new home will need to have ramps for me to get up on the sofa and bed, because I should not be allowed to jump at all. I saw at cat at the vet’s office, and just checked it out, so my foster mom thinks I will be ok around cats. For more information about me, please contact my foster mom, Julie at jeire@att.net or 609-868-0875. My adoption fee is $225.
