Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi my name is Penguin. I love you, that is pretty much the first thing I say to everyone. I think it is a great way to start a friendship.
I have been adjusting to life at the ranch while the vet helped decide the best thing for me. I have a bad leg, everyone thinks it is a big deal, I do not really care. I guess they decided that the best thing to do is to remove my leg. I really do not understand what all of that means but I am sure I will be happy no matter what. Every day is so good, why would it matter if I got rid of this leg. It really does not work so I do not need it.
I think that life is great and I in a good mood all the time. The rescue is collecting money to pay for my leg amputation. I also need my dental and to be neutered. I am not keen on the neuter idea. To be absolutely honest, marking is my most favorite hobby. Look at me, I am tiny and super handsome. Everyone says that I was probably a stud, which makes sense to me because I am so adorable. The problem is that because I was not neutered young, I like to mark everything. My new family will need to teach me that marking is not a constant job. I will be neutered before I leave so the instinct will be gone but I will need to learn that it is not acceptable. I know that I can learn anything if people are patient and teach me. If you don't have patience to work with a belly band and training than I am not the boy for you. That is okay, I will find a home. If you are not a good home for me, maybe you can still tell everyone about me. They can help pay for my surgeries, or maybe be my forever home. Thank you for getting to know me. If you want to meet me in person, we have open house on Saturday. That is so fun. People come to the ranch. Some bring cleaning supplies or food, boring. Some just come to pet us!!! Sometimes, they even come and a lucky dog goes home with them! You should see that, it is like watching a romance movie. They fall in love at first sight sometimes! One day, I will be that lucky.
