Dexter is our active little 1.5 year old Jug (Jack Russell/Pug Mix). Dexter is a sweetheart of a boy who loves to be romping out side and go hiking in the woods. Dexter has done okay with the dog savvy cats he has been introduced to and does well with most every dog he meets, though he can seem nervous or stand offish at first. Dexter should not go to a home with nervous cats or cats that run as this will make him chase them. Dexter is super smart and has a moderate to high energy level that will require frequent exercise and attention to keep happy and will need to continue to be properly socialized to prevent the Â“Shy Dog SyndromeÂ” that small dogs are prone to. Dexter will do great with a moderately active new family that would like to take their dog for hikes in the woods or throw a ball or a toy in the back yard for a game of fetch and chase. Do you or your family have an interest in a happy go lucky family pet that will keep them out doors and active?
