My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

An energetic boy who loves to play!

JESSE is a handsome, loyal and fun loving dog that loves to play fetch.  He enjoys long walks on leash, and especially loves to come into the house for family time.  JESSE is muscular and sleek and is a beautiful color.  He could be part Weimaraner due to his color and physique.  We do not know how he is with children or cats, but due to his large size, we recommend older children in the family.  He likes some dogs, and others he has to warm up to.  He would probably be best as the only dog.  He is crate trained and loves to go in at bedtime and sleep.  He also loves being in the house all day long, and he is not destructive at all.  He is very affectionate and just wants companionship.  We saved him from euthanasia in a small town shelter.  He completed heartworm treatment a few months ago.  He is microchipped, up to date on shots and neutered.  We do not know his exact age but believe he is 4 or 5 years old.  Jesse needs a fenced yard.  He can climb a chain link fence so a privacy fence would work best for him, or a fence that has a wire stop at the top.  JESSE would make a great watch dog because he barks at people he does not know.  We are in the Sherman, Tx area and should you wish to meet him, just contact me.  If you apply to adopt him we will do a home safety check as well as check references.  We want to make sure JESSE gets placed with the right forever family and he is the perfect fit for you as well.  If you have any questions about Jesse, please contact me.  Our email is reddoghaven@gmail.com  Thank you for considering Jesse.
