Skye is a female Chihuahua mix, approx 6-8 yrs old and found as a stray by Pasco County Animal Services. We don't know how long she was a stray before being found as she is severely under weight and could gain a couple more pounds. Skye's current weight is 9 lbs and her foster mom is trying to fatten her up a bit.
Skye is a little hesitant around other dogs and she is very protective of her sleeping area when another dog approaches, but fine with people.. She is will shake during a thunderstorm or fireworks and finds comfort in the arms of her foster mom during those times. Skye is house trained and she will let you know when she has to go out. Skye will probably do best as an only dog with someone who previously had a dog. Skye needs a lot of TLC.
Skye is spay, micro chipped, current on all vaccines including rabies, tested negative for heart worms and internal parasites. She recently had a dental cleaning and 7 teeth extracted.Skye is currently on heartworm and flea preventative and her adoption donation is $200.
