Stanley is a big, lovable teddy bear who was rescued from Virginia Beach Animal Control.  As you can see he is very thin, but his foster mom is working hard to fatten him up.  He is truly a gentle giant who is calm, shy, and obedient.  We don’t know what Stanley’s life was like before he came to Animal Control as a stray, but we believe that he basks in the attention and affection he has been receiving nonstop and graciously returns with endless love and boundless appreciation.  We are not quite certain how Stanley will do with other dogs and cats, but we are working on learning his likes and dislikes.  He sits and shakes hands on command and is a very quick learner who aims to please.  Stanley tells us he is a people person who loves children and anyone else he meets.  For more information or to meet this sweet guy please contact Cindy via email cfleisch@cox.net or call 479-5232 or fill out an application at http://www.artanimals.org/applicationnote.html (Filling out an application doesn't obligate you to adopt.)
