My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Roxie is a beautiful 8 year old 32lb-ish Athletic Mix of Boston Terrier, Australian Shepard and a little something else. She is an Outdoor Dog through and through with a need for a yard and a fellow dog to exercise and play with. She can Jump High and loves chasing golf balls and such. We had a companion dog for the first 6 years she lived with us but he passed last year and its obvious she misses him and prefers a dog buddy to interact with on a daily basis.

She is good with the family she loves, and accepting of other adults and kids 4-5+ although submissive as she was a 1 year old rescue when we adopted her in 2009 who had suffered previous abuse. She basically ignores young children but being skittish we'd recommend her to a home with older (4-5+) or no kids and it will take her time to adapt.

She loves excercising and being playful outdoors, but also loves sitting next to you and enjoying a good pet. She isnt overly clingy and will wander away on her own once she has gotten enough petting.
