Here's what the humans have to say about me:
SHILOH HAS BEEN ADOPTED
Due to her quirkiness, we want to keep Shiloh within a short driving distance of her foster home in Denver. We know this means it will take longer to find her forever family but we feel it is best for her. Thank you for understanding.
Meet Shiloh, a "10" on the cute scale! To match her "cute" score, she also weighs 10 pounds. Estimated age to be 1/2 of her scores, at approximately 5 years old.
Though she is not one to cuddle, Shiloh likes to go where her person goes, and when you cannot find her, she is probably at your heels. Shiloh likes to eat! Shiloh is very shy and has a difficult time meeting new people. But don't underestimate her -- once she knows her person, she is devoted and full of personality!
Not much is known about her history, but new things, people, and situations make Shiloh very nervous and often cause her to bark. Did I mention she likes to eat? Shiloh rides well in the car, is crate-trained, mostly house-broken, and leash training is work in progress. She likes other dogs, mostly fond of smaller dogs her size. The current foster home does not have cats, so that compatibility is unknown.
Shiloh is looking for a patient person willing to dedicate substantial training time to give her a furever home. Due to past experiences, Shiloh does not do well with children, so she will not be placed in a home with children or a home where children often visit. She also would not do well in an overly active home with lots of commotion. Shiloh likes calmness, consistency, schedules, and treats.
In the end, her adopter will be overwhelmed with cuteness and the satisfaction of watching her blossom. Shiloh is in good health, spayed and her recent dental complete.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
