Duke is a loyal love bug who happens to be a well-fed Catahoula with lovely markings and warm brown eyes. He needs a tall fence as he will jump a short one to fulfill his desire to be with you. He is best as an only dog. Any considerations for Duke’s adoption are due to his big heart and great love for his people. Duke is as sweet as can be, he rides very well in a car, enjoys belly rubs, and is a mellow man who just wants to be with you. He is a “leaner” content to be leaning against you. (At his temporary home, each time the man reached his hand down, he said Duke’s head was right there.) He loves and bonds quickly to his family but does NOT welcome outsiders. Duke will reward his owner with lots of love and companionship as he gazes lovingly at them.
