Bridget came to Maine from a poor rural shelter in South Carolina. Before being rescued, she had been overbred, underfed, and neglected for a long time. Despite her experience, she still loves humans and always offers cuddles and a big, goofy smile. While in foster care in South Carolina, she quickly mastered the doggie door and got along beautifully with the other dogs. Bridget fancies herself a lap dog, and she would love to have a family that will spend lots of time with her.
