My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Winston! My story is almost too sad to share. I was found on the side of the road,starving and dumped like a piece of garbage. I was dropped off at a shelter & scheduled to be euthanized! There isn't anything wrong with me, so I was really confused! Luckily, a rescuer took me off of death row and placed me in an outdoor shelter. I watched all of my friends get adopted but didn't understand why no one wanted to meet me! I spent the next year of my life there. I was fed and treated with love but because of lack of resources, I was kept outside and every time it would rain, my kennel would flood. They promised to send me to another rescue where I have my own bed and toys and a real chance at finding my own home! I have met so many nice rescue people since I was found, but i am still longing for a family to love unconditionally and to call my own. About my personality- I am a gentle giant! I love people and dogs my own size. I have a very loving, appreciative personality. I actually love being in the crate with a soft bed but would love to share the couch with you! I have spent some time in training for basic obedience. I had no clue what a leash was, but now I can walk on one nicely! I even learned commands. I need a calm owner to love me and show me how to do things. I would be best in a home without children, not because I am aggressive, but because of my size. I don't know how big I really am! I love being outdoors, but the AC is my favorite ;) I really like laying in the grass on cool days. My last place didn't have any! I am a 2.5 year old Pit/Mastiff/Lab mix. I am neutered and utd on all vaccinations. HW negative. No cats, birds, rodents, small dogs please.
