Here's what the humans have to say about me:
TOO YOUNG TO DETERMINE FINAL HAIR LENGTH. Adoptapet requires us to state a hair length, but these babies are too young to tell whether they will have long or short hair. All kittens appear to have a long coat until they are about 8 weeks. Around then, they shed their fluffy kitten fur, and you can tell what length their hair will be.
Jacqueline and Jasmine were were rescued in Worthington Ohio by kind people when their neighbor's cat had a litter that she was killing. They were brought to our Rescue when they were only five days old, and they have been cuddled and hand-fed throughout every day (and night) since them.
They are very, very affectionate to humans, and seem to make up very well with strangers. Both girls are playful and love to wrestle with each other and with people. They are athletic, sweet, and funny. Jacqueline loves to curl up and snuggle around your neck when she is not busy playing.
Jaq is a champion at purring. She started purring at 6 days old, and has never seemed to stop since. (Generally, kittens can't purr until they are closer to two weeks old.) They are two of the cleanest kittens we have ever raised. By just five weeks old, they were using the kitty litter well. This is very unusual when they do not have a cat mother to show them what to do. We generally keep kittens until they are eight weeks because the orphans are usually not reliably litter-trained until them. These girls may be adopted younger because they have been so smart about kitty litter.
Won't you consider giving these two adorable babies a home. We find that it is easier to raise two together because they entertain each other. However, they can be adopted separately if you only want one kitten.
