My story

With my glamour-girl good looks, adorable affectionate ways, my imploring eyes and persistent smile I think I am pretty hard to resist. : ) I came into the shelter with my hair matted with tar and a desire for love and affection that seemed unquenchable. I am getting so much love and attention here, but I really need a forever-home where I can feel safe to finally let myself take in all the love and tenderness that I have craved for so long. With attentive work by volunteers, and attendance in BadRap training classes, I am gradually learning to be a canine good citizen. Although I can sometimes still be reactive to other dogs on-leash, I am ever-eager to please my handler, so I have been doing a lot less of this lately. I am just a bundle of love, willing to be a loyal companion to someone who is willing to put the time and effort into helping me learn good boundaries and who will of course give me oodles of love and affection.
