Welcome to Katie's Roadside Rescue! We are an animal rescue with the primary mission of saving dogs that have been dumped in the country or by the side of the road to fend for themselves.

Sydney is a true survivor! She lived in the woods for over 4 months that we know of so that explains some of her wariness and shyness at first meeting. Once she knows you are ok and she trusts you she is a great little companion. She isn't crazy about men but has learned to love her rescue dad. So if the man of the house isn't expecting a lap dog for himself - okay. She is house trained, sleeps on the big bed at night or will sleep in her own. She is quiet except when strangers enter the house or at small children. So no children please - they simply scare her. She did try a home once as an only dog and did not do very well. Sydney loves to have a companion dog or two. She will not be adopted out as an only dog. She has wiry hair and when she shakes she looks like she stuck her toe in an electrical socket! She is a precious girl that deserves a wonderful life where she will never be dumped in the woods again. Are you the family for her? Apply at www.krrtx.org/forms
