Cash is a 7-8 month old mixed breed puppy. We really have no idea what kind of mix he is because no one can see any specific breed when they look at him. He has a long slender muzzle, a very light build, and a brindle coat. This has led us to guess that he has some kind of sighthound, like a Greyhound or Whippet, in his family tree. He also has a soft coat, like that of a German Shepherd. Since Petfinder doesn’t allow us to use Heinz 57 or American Shelterhund as breeds, we have listed Cash as a Greyhound/Shepherd mix, but it is really only a guess!


Cash is currently about 23 pounds, and he really hasn’t got much bigger in the last three months. At this point, he probably won’t get over 40 pounds. As you can see in his photo, Cash is a very cute guy. Prior to coming into foster care, the only life Cash had known was an overcrowded shelter. He has sure left that life behind! Cash is now crate trained and nearly housetrained. He has learned that it is fun to have people dote on him, and they can give him TOYS, TREATS, and RAWHIDES. He likes to play with other dogs but can be a bit rough and does not like to share his stuff. Cats are favorite toys, so if he went to a home with a cat it would need to be very dog savvy.


Cash is pretty excited to find a new home with a family who will love him and continue to give him the training and socialization that any young dog deserves. He is looking forward to years of cuddling on the couch or bed with his FOREVER family.
