Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Penny is fostered in Gainesville Texas through United Yorkie Rescue http://unitedyorkierescue.org.
Penny is 8 yrs old and a wee little 5.6lbs. Penny was surrendered to United Yorkie Rescue in June 2017 because her mommy is having a really hard time fighting the horrible “C” word, and her daddy travels a lot. Penny has spent her past few years being a caregiver and therapy dog, making sure she was right by mommy’s side giving her cuddles to make her feel better. Prior to coming into their lives, little Penny was saved as she was a seizure from a horrible breeding situation. Since that day, Penny has been so very loved and taken care of. She needs a home where she'll be taken care of as a special girl, and princess.
We are looking for a home for Penny that is somewhat pretty settled. She gets along well with dogs, cats, children men and women. Her perfect home would be one with a single person or with a couple with visiting children or grandchildren. Penny is quite content to just lay around and cuddle. She is shy at first, but she has opened up after the first few hours in my home and is coming up for loves and belly rubs.
