Daisy is fostered in Martinsburg WV through United Yorkie Rescue http://unitedyorkierescue.org.
Daisy is a 2 yr. old, 10 lb. Yorkie - Jack Russel mix, her mom is a Yorkie and her dad is a Jack Russell. She came to United Yorkie Rescue in June 2017, a much loved girl whose owner selflessly asked for help when changes occurred that left Daisy home alone most of the day. She also recently lost her dog sibling and Daisy loves other dogs. Daisy was picked out from birth by her family and has always been in a loving home with children and dogs. We don't know how she is with cats.
Daisy quickly made herself at home, usually foster mom likes to bring home a new dog and let them take a nap in the quiet room with slow introduction to the new home and furry gang. Daisy was having none of that and got out of both gated rooms as she jumped right over them! She doesn't need one in her permanent home; foster mom's gates are in place to protect the tiny ones from getting lost in the house.
She slept with foster mom and human sister and all the dogs the first night in a big living room sleepover. She's calm, polite, and is a pure joy to be around. She also enjoys quiet time and would be happy with one person who has time for her. She's a smart little girl and has quickly been catching on to commands and play activities with her foster fur sibs. She behaves well in public and rides beautifully in a harness in the car. She comes when called and is housetrained.
Daisy is looking for a home with other dogs, children, and activities. This smart, adorable, and sweet little girl is going to make an amazing addition to her new family. She's just perfect!
