My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Abel is a very affectionate 8-year-old Shepherd / Lab mix.

He had major ear surgery last spring because he had lived for a long time with chronic ear infection, so he is now adjusting to and enjoying life without chronic ear pain; but understandably, he's still very sensitive about having his ears touched, so he needs a family who can be gentle in that area; so, if there are kids, they should older and able to understand and respect Abel's need in that area.

He's great with other dogs, and he's okay with cats, unless they attack him.

Aside from his sensitivity to his ears being touched and attack cats, he's happy, snuggly, and playful!
