Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Biscuit, and I am a super affectionate, playful, and loving buff or light orange tabby DSH fella who was born in March 2016. We ginger tabbies are know for our wonderful outgoing and friendly personalities, and I'm no exception. Plus I am a lap cat extraordinaire! I love to lay in your lap all the time, and I'll stick to you like Velcro just to get some lovin'! I am a complete cuddle bug and like sleeping under the covers at night. Sometimes I will wake you up licking your hand and purring because I am so happy to be here.
I am very social and more like a dog than a cat. I will greet you at the door and will climb on you to hold me. I like to be held like a baby and am happy if you will carry me every where.
I am very intelligent and get used to a schedule quickly. And I'm full of quirks: I love bags, purses, and boxes - anything I can sit in. I also like some strange things that you eat: oatmeal, popcorn, and coconut oil straight out of the jar. One warning -- I can play-bite, but I never nip too hard.
Originally I was rescued from a shelter by Buster's Friends. I hit the jackpot when I got adopted with Boo in December 2016. We had the best home until our new mom and dad figured out what was making their little girl so sick - severe allergies to us. They literally cried when they realized that their high insurance deductible precluded their being able to afford allergy shots for her. Sadly for all of us, Boo and I have to be re-homed.
We are awesome kitties and would love to stay together again because we do so well together -- BUT, we do not have to be adopted together. Mostly I would love another kitty around so I can play! Plus I don't limit my buddies to just humans and cats because I also get along with the dogs in my foster home.
I would be a great companion - with or without Boo, but it would be nice to stay with him! Please come meet me for yourself!
Biscuit is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for his indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted. His adoption fee is $100 or $150 for the bonded pair with Boo, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the contact button if you are interested in Biscuit, and we can let you know exactly where you can meet him.
To make the process more efficient, download the adoption application at http://www.bustersfriends.org/catadoptionapplication.shtml.
First save and then open it; then you can print it and fill it out.
