My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If tall, dark, and handsome is something you've been looking for, then Apollo is your guy! Lean and lanky, this handsome 14 month old black and rust youngster is friendly and gets along with other dogs. He is sweet and affectionate, and is like a sponge learning many new things in foster care. He loves all types of toys but squeaky "stuffies" are his favorite! He is excited when he sees his leash and knows it is WALK time, and he walks nicely wearing a gentle leader. This doberboy does not appear to have experienced much of the big world and is unsure of moving vehicles and loud noises from trucks and busses. He gets a little queasy when riding in the car and does drool, but this is improving. He has recently learned how to walk up stairs but is still perplexed by slippery floors. Apollo settles nicely after a long walk and some playtime in the yard. Apollo will thrive with active, dog experienced owners that will continue to patiently work with him and expose him to new, positive situations. Come and meet Apollo at our next adoption event!
