**UPDATE**

Hope is doing very well and expected to make a full recovery, however she may always remain on the small side. When Hope first came to us she weighed a mere 20 pounds! Her coat hides just how emaciated this precious girl was. She is still very frail and needs to gain more weight but is coming along nicely! Hope will need a very special home that is willing to work with her on trusting humans again. She is very submissive and shy. She needs a very loving, understanding family to shower her with love and show her what the 'good life' really is!
Email her foster mom at g.schmidt@buckeye-express.com for an adoption application or for more info!!

Please help! This precious little German Shepherd girl is Hope. She is about 6 months old. Hope was rescued from a kill shelter after being left in the woods to die! Unfortunately her brother did not survive. Can you imagine how horrible that must have been for him to starve to death? We almost lost Hope as well. Thank goodness for our vet and her quick intervention! Hope is still not out of the woods and we will continue to do whatever we can for her! In doing so we will acquire a huge expense. Donations for Hope are needed and appreciated!
Hope has a long road ahead to recovery and will not be available for adoption until we get her back to health. She is a sweet puppy and has great spirit and a strong will to survive! Please help us help Hope!
