My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bear is adorable!! He is an adorable, lovable, goofball! Bear had been hiding out for two weeks in bushes, just yards from a busy road. Good Samaritans left food and water for him daily but were too worried to spook him in to harms way. When a volunteer was notified of his situation, it was obvious to her that this sweet boy was afraid and with patience, she could win him over. After a few McDonalds burgers and lots of sweet talking, Bear allowed her to put a leash on him and off they went. Bear was too exhausted to be scared. He slept in his first car ride with us and has been a good boy since! Bear is young, not quite a year. He gets along with other dogs and is a total lap dog! He thinks in is a 5 lbs dog! We have started walking him on a gentle leader and he is responding well. Bear has beautiful fur with areas that are thick with a gray tint. We think he has black lab in him with a touch of shar pei (his nose is mushy and neck too!) Bear will make a wonderful companion! He is crate trained, understands the potty outside thing and uses a doggie door! He has not yet been tested with cats but we think he would make good friends with a kitty! He is ready for a family.
